Ingredients

4 chicken legs or breasts

1 cup chicken stock, water or broth
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup butter
1/4 lb. baby lima beans
1 onion, finely chopped
8 baby carrots
1/2 tsp. MSG
1/2 cup sherry

Directions

Quarter the chicken. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika.

Dredge with flour. Brown in butter. Remove chicken pieces and put them in a Casserole. Add remaining ingredients except sherry. Stir until mixed and warmed.

Deglaze pan in which birds were browned and pour everything into the Casserole. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 1/2 hour. Mix in sherry at the end.
